Michelle is the heart behind all the hand-drawn illustrations on our products. Each design is inspired by her personal journey, filled with purpose and intention. Her passion for spreading positivity and encouraging a growth mindset is what led to the creation of Mahal Ohana.

Glen is the hands behind the scenes, helping bring each product to life. From day one, he’s supported Michelle in building Mahal Ohana and now leads production—pressing each item with care, intention, and a whole lot of heart.

Our Story
In 2022, Michelle faced a medical journey that put her physical body and mind to the test. Her family witnessed someone who was capable of juggling everything, suddenly struggle to face the world.
As a Graphic Designer, designing has always been a form of therapy. When she was at her most vulnerable she created two designs based on two sayings that she held onto for positivity, Faith over Fear and Grow Through What you Go Through. Michelle placed the designs on mugs to help reframe her mindset while she enjoyed her morning cup of coffee. This is what sparked the start of Mahal Ohana.
Our goal is to create hand illustrated products that encourage growth in every season of life.
